Class Descriptions

Beginners

Level 1 (no salsa experience)
Learn the basic steps, moves, and turns until you master them. Focus is on enjoying the music, finding the beat, and dancing to it with lots of flavor. Learn the basics of how to lead and follow moves.

Level 2 (basic ruseda)
Start dancing rueda de casino. Establish a solid foundation by learning fun, simple moves that will help you join a rueda anywhere and improve your partner dancing.

Intermediates
If you already have rueda experience, improve your skills learning new combinations and more advanced turn patterns. We teach both traditional as well as alternative moves, so you can have an ample repertoire.

Advanced Intermediates
The advanced class includes more complex combinations, group moves, and master-level moves. You will have mastered the beginner and intermediate moves and successfully be able to integrate rueda moves into your partner dancing (casino-style dancing). Review the syllabus for moves you will be learning at this level.
