Rodolfo "Compi" Caballeros
Dancer/CO-FOUNDER

Rodolfo "Compi" Caballeros once attended a wedding where he saw Jaime Rivas dancing casino style salsa. Since that day he decided he wanted to learn how to dance this style of salsa. He began taking lessons with SCAM almost six years ago and has continually uped his game as a Casinero in Washington DC.

Compi also is a connoisseur of fine, high-end electronic products. On any given evening, you can find him carefully selecting video cameras and digital cameras from the back of that one dude's car. Compi also has a great sense of humor. Although he has struggled with some foot issues - he doesn't let it get him down. He can be seen smiling and enjoying himself all the time.

Rodolfo has 'Co-founder' next to his name because he is one of the original members of SAOCO. He didn't give up his hopes of becoming a world-class casinero when SCAM died and encouraged the start of SAOCO. He is definitely one of the reasons for SAOCO's success. He can often be seen holding down the dance floor at Cecilia's and quietly whispering "2-3, 6-7" in his partner's ear.

He would like to thank his good friend Jaime Rivas for getting him addicted to salsa. He also would like to acknowledge Cecilia Villalobos & Shaka Brown for completing him as an all around dancer in both LA & NY style salsa. And the writer of the bio would like to be thanked as well since she is the one who popped his 'rueda cherry'.
