You may already be familiar with David as he recently starred in our latest blooper video, "Slap Heard 'Round the World". David was born and raised in Lima, Peru and has lived in the United States for about six years. However, please don't confuse him with our other Peruvian David.

David has been with SAOCO for about eight months and has shown great growth and improvement. He first became familiar with SAOCO through MySpace and decided to come to the SAOCO Holiday party last winter. It was love at first sight for him and rueda! He was definitely hooked and needed more. The decision to join SAOCO came from seeing the chemistry among the members and seeing a family behind the SAOCO t-shirts - not just a bunch of dancers. And of course, the sexy ladies of SAOCO didn't hurt.

When not dancing with SAOCO, David enjoys being a smartass, sending smartass bumper stickers on Facebook, studying people as well as playing soccer and pool (smartass comment removed for publication). And of course, he likes hanging out with his friends and annoying them. He also trains hard with Stef in learning her repertoire of dance in addition to dancing merengue, bachata, slow salsa, and cha cha.
