Don’t let the Michigan accent fool you, this woman was born to be a Latina (and 9 years ago her status as an honorary Puerto Rican became official). Watching her dance is just confirmation of that. Jennifer first started dancing tap at 3 but decided it didn’t have that fire she was looking for, so she abandoned it at age 5 in pursuit of a hotter, sexier dance. Fast forward to 9 years ago when she discovered salsa and a short time later – rueda. She started with Piero and Jimmy in SCAM as a student and webmaster and later agreed to continue sharing her talents with the newly-formed SAOCO.

Jennifer says she joined SAOCO because she figured it would give her more time to be with her friends. Plus, she wanted to improve her dancing. She must be taking tips from SAOCO’s master time bender (Richard) because no one can figure out how she does everything she does with the same 24 hours a day the rest of us are working with. She’s a mother of two (a MILF some say after seeing her Popis Halloween costume), a wife, a content manager for the Air Force, and a web designer and search engine optimizer for others (including, of course, SAOCO).

When she’s not dancing she’s working on the SAOCO website, working on a SAOCO video, working on cutting music for SAOCO, posting photos and doing marketing for SAOCO, or hosting parties for SAOCO. She loves spending time with her kids – who are usually dressed in SAOCO gear. She also loves shopping (like for dresses for the SAOCO ladies) and shoes (Pumas! – maybe some day she’ll design a pair in orange and blue with the SAOCO logo). In addition to her many talents, Jennifer plays the piano and claims to have once been a band geek. We don’t believe her, though. SAOCO’s very own Wonder Woman is much too cool to have ever been a band geek.

NOTE: Jennifer is always taking applications for babysitters who love to work for free on Fridays and Saturdays and any other night there’s a good salsa party going on. Inquire within.
